In 2013, I may have been the most reluctant pilgrim to walk the Camino de Santiago. No doubt, I had no idea that the walk would lead my wife Sue and I to discover seven more distance trails in six more countries.

And I never, ever could have foreseen our adventure on one of the world’s greatest wilderness treks, California’s John Muir Trail. That journey is the subject of my third book, which launched in late January with the help of Sue’s cover, title, and ad design.
