Fellow Camino walker and author Kevin Craig, host of popular website, challenged me to a game of 20 questions. It really wasn’t a game, but there were 20 questions, many quite thought-provoking. You may not be able to resist coming up with your own answers. Share in comments if you would like.

What was your favorite question? Mine was number 12; it made me want to believe in reincarnation.

Kevin, who lives in Canada, wrote Camino Club, a great story, and many other novels. I recently read I Will Tell the Night, and enjoyed it very much!

Look Where the Camino Got Me

In 2013, I may have been the most reluctant pilgrim to walk the Camino de Santiago. No doubt, I had no idea that the walk would lead my wife Sue and I to discover seven more distance trails in six more countries.

And I never, ever could have foreseen our adventure on one of the world’s greatest wilderness treks, California’s John Muir Trail. That journey is the subject of my third book, which launched in late January with the help of Sue’s cover, title, and ad design.

I can’t begin to express my appreciation for reader comments like these: “This book impressed and inspired me. What a journey!” And, “I absolutely loved reading this book” from a woman who said she read Hoofin’ It in one day.
